Just the other day, a caveman bopped a cavewoman over the head and dragged her into a three-story Victorian nestled in the 'burbs. When she recovered, she whipped him up a nice roast venison, smiled and asked if there was anything else she could do for him. Okay, okay, it's a trite metaphor, not subtle at all. But the treatment of women in the workplace in our region still has a touch of stone age to it.
The Women & Girls Foundation asked Fitting Group to create a brochure that would drive non-profit organizations to their website to apply for a grant. The money would be used to create programs for one purpose — equality for women.
You'd think that in this day and age these kind of brochures wouldn't be necessary. But some people still need a good bop on the head. You know who you are.
